She has such a high pitched little happy scream! I love it! My boys all said "DA DA" first, so this is a nice little change. We are working on saying "DA DA" too.

Park Day
I love that the weather is warm enough again to be wearing shorts and spending hours at the park playing. While at the park you can catch each of my children doing something different. Drew spends hours playing basketball and getting games going with whoever happens to be there at the time. Ian has had fun playing with this toy! *See following photo. This miniature motorcycle/dirt bike (not sure what it is) belongs to our neighbors and Ian really wants one. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! Owen spends most of his time scrounging up snacks from whoever will give him any. Mya just sits in the stoller soaking in the sun and looking cute!

I can picture my sister Carmin laughing at the HUGE flower on Mya's hat that looks bigger than her head, but I think its cute!

Let's Go Wildcats!!!!
So the BEST team did win! K-State STOMPED on BYU and then on XAVIER in DBL overtime tonight. My heart was racing and I did scare Mya a couple of times with my loud cheering. I loved watching it on our big screen tv, actually seeing the sweat dripping off the players faces . Unfortunately, Kenny was on call and got stuck down at the hospital having to watch it on his computer. K-State is in the final 8 and plays this Saturday. Going to be a good game. Hopefully, they will beat Butler this Sat. and move onto the Final 4 . I'm Proud To Be a WILDCAT!!!! Go STATE!
Wish I were there to hold up a head. Trying to talk Kenny into heading out to UT for the game this Sat.

Big Game this Saturday!
I come from a long line of K-State wildcat fans. Kenny comes from a long line of BYU fans. They play this Saturday and I will be wearing purple, Kenny Blue. Mya will be wearing purple, because I dress her, and I'm sure Kenny will have the boys in their BYU shirts. Drew says that he is going for BYU. Ian says he hopes both win. Owen is indifferent. However, I know they will root for whoever is winning at the time! Can't wait to see how it turns out!
Fashion Trends
Owen has decided that he doesn't like me to pick out his clothes anymore or assist with putting them on. He says, "Me do it!" These are a couple of his outfits he's picked out the last couple of days. If I dare try and change him he is Livid! So as you can see he is making some pretty strong fashion statements.
Pajamas under the backwards sweatshirt and shorts.
This is by far his favorite shirt, courtesy Aunt Connie. He will come into our bed in the morning with his "Basketball" jersey on over his pajamas. He would wear this daily if he had his choice. I often leave it in the dryer just so he can't find it.

Owen sporting the backwards look again.
I am thankful for his independence. It could be worse.

2 Year Olds...
I love toddlers! They are learning so much about the world around them and I love seeing them discover new things and figuring out how things work. Owen everyday makes me laugh as I watch him. His curiosity and nonstop energy definitely keep me on my toes. Did I mention yet that he is also very independent at this age? Daily, more like hourly, I am cleaning up some kind of mess created by my two-year old. Unrolling a whole roll of toilet paper to wipe himself, spilling a whole box of cereal on the floor as he scales our pantry, and emptying a whole cabinet of blankets and sheets are just a few of his endeavors lately. It is much easier to keep up with him when I am not distracted with a baby. Extreme measures have been taken though. Kenny just put a lock on our pantry door that now has to be opened with a key just so I would stop calling him at work to tell him what Owen had gotten into that day. Even though I am constantly cleaning up after this kid I wouldn't have it any other way. I am thankful for his independence and his curiosity. He is such a sweet and fun little boy. He climbs into my bed every morning to wake me up and always has the biggest grin on his little face and says, " I wuv you!" I Love you Owen and thanks for keeping me on my toes!

He thinks he can just get anything he wants to eat at anytime of the day...NOT ANYMORE!!!!
This morning as I was cleaning lip gloss out of my Bobbi Brown eyeliner brush, Ian wanted to paint, I came out to discover a game of Go Fish being played in our linen cabinet. And I wonder why I am getting more and more grey hairs. I love being a MOM!
My little Super Hero Crashing at the end of the day.
